What is a Bolo Tie?

A bolo tie is a type of neckwear, fully woven into the character of the American Southwest. Traditionally made with a cord or braided leather and finished with an ornamental clasp, it carries the ease of something casual and the presence of something ceremonial. In Texas, the bolo tie has long sat somewhere between ranch tradition and personal expression: worn with denim, dressed up beneath a jacket, passed down, picked up on travels, or chosen because it says something a standard tie never could.
