Providing a safe and healthy environment for our guests and colleagues is always top priority at The Driskill – even more so today. In an effort to ensure a healthy environment and in accordance with the state’s orders, we have implemented additional hygiene and safety measures throughout the property. Below is a list of modifications that have been made to our amenities and updates to the hotel’s safety procedures.


Updated Safety Procedures

MOBILE CHECK-IN AND KEYLESS ENTRY
Use your our World of Hyatt app to check-in, access your room, and receive your final bill without contact - all from your mobile phone

CLEANING ENHANCEMENTS
We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting of high-touch surfaces and areas including the lobby, front desk, credit card processing machines, guestrooms, restaurants, public restrooms, elevator buttons, the fitness center, all employee areas, meeting spaces, and more.

LOBBY
The updated arrival process now includes a plexiglass barrier at the front desk for a contact-free check in experience. Floor decals and signage have been added to remind guests of social distancing requirements.

HAND SANITIZING STATIONS
Touchless hand sanitizing stations have been placed in prominent areas throughout the hotel’s public spaces and entrances.

PAPERLESS MENUS
QR codes have been placed in common areas of the hotel for guests to quickly and easily download our menus - another way to eliminate a touch point while remaining environmentally friendly

HOUSEKEEPING
In order to minimize contact, housekeeping services will not be provided for guests staying less than 5 nights. Fresh towels and amenities will be available upon request and drop off at your door in a contactless form. All staff will be required to wear the proper PPE before entering a guest room.

SOCIAL DISTANCING
The hotel has implemented social distancing guidance in public areas and has rearranged furniture in the lobby, restaurants, and other relaxation areas throughout the property.

HYGIENE MANAGER
A trained, on-site Hygiene Manager has been appointed to ensure the daily implementation of our new operational guidance and protocols


Amenity and Activity Modifications

MOBILE CONCIERGE
While our concierge agent is still available and ready to assist in our lobby, our mobile concierge allows you ask questions and request items to your room by texting (512) 817-1181

FITNESS CENTER
The fitness center will be open daily and will provide limited capacity to maintain social distancing practices. Steam rooms & showers will remain closed until further notice.

VALET PARKING
Valet service has been temporarily suspended. Our Brazos Street entrance will be designated as a guest drop off for unpacking vehicles and sanitized bell carts will be available for guest’s use. The front drive will also be available for ADA assistance. Guest will have several nearby self-parking garages located within walking distance; one is located across the street and the other just one block away. Guests are also encouraged to use the ParkATX app for street parking.


Dining Modifications

Select tables have been rearranged or closed to ensure proper social distancing
High touch areas will be sanitized at least every two hours
Tables and chairs will be sanitized after each guest
Servers, Chefs, Bartenders, and Setup teams will wear disposable gloves and face masks.
